Blog Relocation

Due to unforced peer pressure, I have decided to move my blog to www.myspace.com/ugoxls. I am sorry if this causes any inconvenience. I guess I am more loyal to my friends than a blog location. I look forward to hosting you there.

Baltimore Is Named America's Fittest City - And Chicago is now the Fattest

Baltimore Is Named America's Fittest City - Yahoo! News

Well, looks like Baltimore is now number one and Seatle, winners last time has dropped to #8. They probably got complacent because if thier results last year. I still wonder how they calculate these.

Happy Anniversary my Dear old Blog!!!

Well, I can't believe it...I just can't believe I was able to keep a blog for a whole year. Talk about commitment to something. I surprised myself really with this one. Anyway, for all of you that have paid any attention whatsoever to the blog, you are my inspiration. Thank You.

- Top 100 names of 2005- Lets see if Jacob is back at number one

- Top 100 names of 2005

Well, there is good news! Jacob which does mean deciever is not the top name for 2005. Jacob came in second to none other than Aidan. Aidan? What the heck does that mean? Hold on, let me check...Well, Aidan is an Irish name meaning Fiery. On the girl's side, Emma held on strong and still remains as the most popular name for the second year in a row.

Why am I talking about this? I am not sure. I think it is because of I mentioned it last year.

Texas on top in the end - NCAA Football - That is one Prediction in the Bag

Texas on top in the end - NCAA Football - Yahoo! Sports

Not sure who all saw that game but the Texas/USC game last night was (along with the Miami/Ohio State game 2003) the best College Football game that I have ever seen. Oh my was that exciting. Anyway, that was one prediction that I made that actually happened. I never thought that the game could have ever lived up to the hype but it by far did and Vince Young is a stud- 467 yrds of total offence including 200 yrds on the ground and 3 TDs. The next question is...No, it is not should I enter the draft because no way he is coming back. The next question will be do I get an Escalade now or a H2.

Predictions Sure to go Wrong in 2006

This is touchy stuff but make sure you focus on the title here. These predictions are about anything and everything I can think of right now. These are predictions sure to go wrong and in no order either

1. The Texas Longhorns will be crowned National Champions in College Football
2. The Indianapolis Colts will be crown Super Bowl Champions
3. I will once again be involved in multiple weddings of which none will be mine (thankfully)
4. I will be on the verge of being an Uncle (pretend like you did not see this one)
5. I will still be driving my Toyota Celica (been known to change cars often. Not this year)
6. Microsoft and Wal-Mart will merge to forge the closest link to the Anti-Christ since...well Microsoft
7. The Cleveland Cavaliers will finally make the playoffs
8. Someone again will be silly enough to try to climb the Mountain K2
9. I will use the words "I told you so" yet again
10. I will make a birdie (made a par on January 1st and that has to be a good sign)
11. Michael of Michael's Webspace will be a Police Officer (this will actually happen)
12. Tom Cruise and Ben Afleck will come out with movies that are duds (word of wisdom here)
13. The Los Angeles Lakers will miss the playoffs
14. I will leave the country at least 3 times (hopefully anyway cause I love to travel)
15. Hillary Clinton will announce her bid for the White House and that would be Hillarious (hahaha, get it, Hillary-Hillarious, huh, huh, oh forget it)
16. I would be an Author of a book depicting how a butterfly flapping its wings in China can cause a Hurricane in Mexico. I will be sued and I would win.
17. Nokia will come out with a phone that also doubles as a dishwasher
18. Someone will tell me, "I told you so."
19. I will finally balk the trend and wear strip shirts more than 4 times this year
20. All these predictions will go wrong.

Thank you very much. I'll be here all week.

Happy New Year to you all!...6 years and counting

Don't have much time so I will get right to it. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! That goes to all of you out there whether you have been naughty or nice, saint or sinner, skinny or skinnier. This is a great time of the year. Time to make changes or try to anyway. I wish you all the best in the changes that you choose to make. Hopefully they are godly changes that require sacrfice because you will better for it. It is also time to avoid the YMCA...oh yeah. That place is like a Theme park with just one rollarcoster on a holiday weekend. Yeah, just the other day, I saw a teenage girl beating up on old lady to get on the treadmill. Ok, that was a bad joke. Anyway, just wanted all of you out there to know that I love you even though it is 2006 and Jesus loves you more.

Today also makes it 6 years that I have been in Pittsburg, KS. Thats right, 6 freaking awesome years. I have no idea what my life would be if I had not made the decision to come here. 6 very trying years but 6 of the very best of my life. That means this is the 7th year which is kinda scary because many believe that 7 is the number of completion but I most definately hope it is not my last here. In fact, I will just say it, I will be here past my 7th year as long as God wills. I have so many fond memories of being here even with some of you guys that read this blog and I hope you have fond memories of my being here as well. If not, let me know and we will make some memories.

That all said, I really want to thank you all deeply for all that you guys have been to me since I rolled into town. I know it is not always pleasant to have to deal with me but if anyone can, you guys can. I look forward to another awesome year with all of you and that includes all at Covenant Harvest and that sphere of influence. May God give you all your heart's desires that are in line with His will this year.
