To Ph.D or not to Ph.D, that is the question!

Since I am fully convinced that nobody reads this, I will not be hurt if I get no comments on this but I hope that I do. I am currently working on a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Those who know me best know that I don't like school and graduating in May is the best thing that will have happened to me since graduating two years ago with my Bachelors.

That said, for some ilogical reason, I am considering going back to school in the Fall of 2006 to get a Ph.D in either Strategy or Corporate Finance. I will be taking the GMAT again in 2.5 weeks to improve my score. If I do, I will go the next step which is apply to several schools and basically, I have a year to make my final decision.

So what I will like for anyone who sees this blog or stumbles upon is that you leave a comment on whether to go ahead with more school and if so where. I will really appreciate it.

Weird News of the Week

Yahoo! News - Student Puts School President on eBay

This is funny. I love when people are creative enough with the items they put on eBay. Last month, the New York Jets kicker was auctioned on the popular online auction site. I am sure there are a few people that we would like to place on eBay. The only thing funnier than placing a person on eBay is recalling someone or perhaps an idea or concept that is popular. In California, there is a law that a public official in the State can be recalled. I wonder if we can make that a federal law so certain Senators can be recalled or...gasp...perhaps the president. Shhh, don't say that I mentioned that because I live in Red Zone.

Long Time No Blog

Well, I guess it has been a long time since I posted anything on here. Not that anyone really cares but the reason I have been away is because I have been quite busy with everything else from school stuff to work stuff to relational stuff. It is my last semester and that is exciting except for the fact that I have to figure out whats next and trust me, it is not as easy as it seems. A lot of my friends are struggling with lack of faith and I wish I can help them but it is not that easy. We really have to trust God and I know that we can and we can all pull through. It is however going to take time and perseverance.

On a different note, I am planning a couple of trips next month. One to Philly and the other to London. I can't wait to go see old friends again which is the purpose of both trips and hopefully to get away just for a little bit because many times, I have found that it takes me leaving just for a second to really appreciate the things that God has blessed me with here. Oh well, time to get ready for bed because I have an early one tomorrow.

SUPERBOWL XXXIX!!!

Well, so we are here at last and I did promise to mention something about the big game. Well, basically, if you want expert analysis, go to espn.com or si.com. No analysis for me because this is really simple. My heart goes with the Eagles (but the bible talks about the heart being naturally deceitfull wicked) partly because I have a Donovan McNabb Rookie card that is long overdue to be sold and because I love the underdog. My head on the other hand which is far more consistent and accurate goes with the New England Patriots. So while I will be rooting for the food...eh, I mean Eagles, watch New England slowly and steadly pull out in the fourth quarter for a 14 pt win.

Final score Prediction- New England 31, Philadelphia, 17
MVP- Correy Dillion

Good Night.

Eh, yeah wait a second, don't leave yet. "This is the heart speaking." "I am going with Eagles 24, Pats 21. My MVP is of course Mr. McNabb (although, Mrs. McNabb may also be on the ballot).
Now you can go to bed or do whatever.

Weird News of the Week

Yahoo! News - The Cop Without a Clue...

This case is really simple. Cop robs bank, investigates the crime and comes up with no clues and then buys a house out of the blue. You know whats funny? Nothing here. Just one stupid cop who also happened to a stupid criminal.

Skydiving- My favourite past time

I went sky diving once and it was one of the most unique experiences that I have ever had. I did write something about it and since I am running out of stuff for now (mostly because I am quite busy), I will let you enjoy it. Maybe I will mention something on the Superbowl before the end of the week.

Sky-flying

So many words
Not enough space
So many thoughts
In my heart they race

The clouds, the sky
The feeling of being so high
So many reasons
Yet not enough seasons

Looking down
What a sight to behold
Exhilarating joy, excitement
New feelings even unfold

Before the jump
My heart began to thump
We begin descending
My soul still ascending

In the clouds above
At speeds considered unholy
A temporary sensation
A thrill so unearthly

The need to freeze
Such a timeless moment
Sadly it seems to breeze
With so much torment

Ended too quickly
Swiftly came its finish
Yet many more thoughts
Non however in English
